Connect Education & Care extends Your Partner in the Classroom contract with major education supplier

The Company has signed a two year extension to its current exclusivity deal with Scholastic Education

It’s been a successful year for the classroom initiative, which is a collaborative partnership with education supplier Scholastic and Smart Kids, and recognises the need to support and work with teachers.

Dan Baugh, Head of Category Management, explains more:

“At the launch of our Classroom Partnership campaign two years ago, we initially entered into a 12 month contract with Scholastic Education. Both parties were excited about how we could work together but had no idea how valuable the insight would be and how well it would go down with our customers.

I’m delighted to share that we have just signed a two year extension to our current exclusivity deal. This secures a partnership approach to our offer in both Primary and Early Years with exclusive access to, insight from and bespoke content generated by Scholastic’s subject and industry experts.

We are also able to advertise our Classroom Partner initiative with one of the most respected and credible suppliers in education. This added value approach will continue to differentiate The Consortium and WMS from our closest competitors.”

This is the icing on the cake for the initiative, as earlier this year it was awarded Marketing Campaign of the Year at the prestigious Education Resource Awards (ERAs).
